As a friendly reminder for those of you participating in the precisionFDA Gaining New Insights by Detecting Adverse Event Anomalies Using FDA Open Data Challenge, you have nine days left before the submission period closes on March 13th.
For ease of access, openFDA data files can now be downloaded automatically by parsing this JSON file. Please also note that providing code is no longer required for a valid final submission. Selected contributors will be invited to participate in a panel at the Modernizing FDA’s Data Strategy public meeting. We are also pleased to announce that the Journal of the American Medical Informatics Association (JAMIA) supports the submission of a paper describing the challenge and the insights that emerge from it.
If you are interested in learning more about how FDA is modernizing its data strategy, please attend the Modernizing FDA’s Data Strategy public meeting on March 27th. The meeting will also be streamed virtually for those who don’t live in the DC area!
We are very excited to see what Anomalies you find!
