Following an interative process of consensus-gathering discussions, this working group is currently working on the following projects to address challenges facing the pharmacovigilance of COVID-19 vaccination in children and pregnancy in LMICs:
- A series of training webinars focussing on vaccine safety communication, with particular reference to COVID-19 vaccination in children and pregnancy. This will involve inviting experts and those with experience in this area to give short talks that will form a series of informational and training videos.
- A COVID-19 Childhood Immunisation Policy Map, which will aim to improve awareness of varying national COVID-19 childhood vaccination strategies, and serve as a valuable reference tool for pharmacovigilance stakeholders.
